"This being human is a guest house, every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. "

"Welcome and entertain them all!"

Welcome to www.lakesideparkalz.com:

AgeSong at Lakeside Park

AgeSong at Lakeside Park is a unique community dedicated to supporting residents with dementia and other high acuity needs. Lakeside Park is part of AgeSong Senior Communities, which has over a decade of providing elder care services and education in San Francisco and throughout the bay area.

We are dedicated to creating therapeutic environments that lovingly support people in being who they are. Our home and neighborhood setting allows residents to experience familiar surroundings while having the freedom and opportunity to participate in group activities, indoor and outdoor recreation, connections to the greater community, and individual support from staff and psychology interns.

We believe that a few simple ingredients create a quality life for anyone, at any age: a familiar and comforting home; a caring and responsive environment; positive engagements with family and community; and daily routines that reflect a sense of personal history and behaviors.

We understand that we are working in partnership with residents and families to provide the very best care and services to meet individual needs and requests. We hope that we can assist families in the daily activities and support services so that they have more time to enjoy being together instead of rushing through lists and tasks.
